1. Below is the remaining state testing schedule.
Face to Face Students
8th grade M-STEP (Soc. Stud.) May 11th (In the history classroom)
6th & 7th grade M-STEP (ELA) May 12th 7:40 – 11:00
M-STEP (Math) May 13th 7:40 – 11:00
Online Students
8th grade M-STEP (Sci. & SS) May 11th 8:00 – 10:45 a.m.
6th & 7th grade M-STEP (ELA) May 12th 7:40 – 11:00 a..m.
M-STEP (Math) May 13th 7:40 – 11:00 a.m.
2. 8th grade recognition is planned for June 7th. With the continued restrictions on visitors the program will be shared virtually with families. More information to follow. Students will be bussed to the high school on the afternoon of June 7th and then released from there at 2:35.
3. No school on 5/28/21 & 5/31/21 (Friday and Monday of Memorial weekend)
4. Next week I will be sending home a note for 7th grade parents to consider signing their student up for an advanced Spanish class at the middle school during their 8th grade year. Please understand that there are requirements that need to be met in order to be considered for this course, in addition to signing up on a first-come-first-served basis. Additional details regarding signing up and course expectations will be sent next week.
