Hey Juniors and Seniors, just a reminder that on Monday, September 13th, a recruiter for the US Army will be here for a lunch visit and Northwood University will have a representative visit on Wednesday, September 15th at 12:40. If you would like to meet with him, please sign up in the Counseling Office. Just added to the list is a lunch visit from the US Navy on Friday, September 17th. All visits will be conducted in the courtyard just outside the cafeteria.
Listen up, students! BCHS will be offering the PSAT8/9, PSAT/NMSQT, and the SAT in October. If you are interested in taking one of these assessments, stop by the Counseling Office to sign up by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14th. These assessments are free of charge, but you must sign up by the deadline.
NHS will have a meeting next Thursday, September 16th at 2:45. We will meet in the Distant Learning Lab.
Attention Lancers – At this time we are making plans for Homecoming. Student Council is making plans for a Parade on September 24th, starting at 4:30 and a Dance on September 25th from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Listen for more details to follow in the next week or so.
On September 25th, Central Michigan University is hosting ‘CMU and You Day’. Students of any grade can attend this FREE event. You will get to tour CMU’s campus, interact with their staff and students, and explore the programs they offer. This also includes a free lunch and tickets to the football game against Florida International University. For more information or to register for this event, check out one of the flyers posted in the counseling center, D-Wing, or the Main Office.
The first round of Homecoming voting is now available through your school email account. Voting will CLOSE at the end of the school day today.
Congratulations to Michael Galloway. He won the drawing for a hooded sweatshirt from the National Guard. Please stop by the counseling office to pick it up.
