9/23/21 – Homecoming Parade Info

Pine River Elementary Families,
What a drastic change in weather that we have had!  Hopefully the rain is gone by tomorrow and the Homecoming Parade and football game can happen as planned.
For those of you who are walking in the parade and representing Pine River Elementary, remember that an adult must accompany your child(ren) in the parade.  Our spot in the parade is #34.
If you are planning on participating in the parade, please note that there will be a shuttle bus transporting people who are in the parade.  It will begin to transport at 3:45 pm until 4:25 pm.  You can load the shuttle bus at the front of the high school.  The shuttle is a great way to avoid traffic and you will end up back at the high school.  Please note – there will be NO BUS PASSES to the high school to transfer to a shuttle bus.
If you plan on driving to the route, you must avoid Patterson Road where the floats will be lining up.
If you need to pick up your child early from school, please be sure to let your child’s teacher know.  You will need to walk to the front door and we will be able to release your child to you.
If you are not in the parade, please find a spot along Stewart Road and plan on joining everyone in watching the parade!
The football game begins at 7:00 p.m.  Students are NOT allowed to bring a football into the stadium.  Students are encouraged to sit with their parents in the bleachers.
Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you tomorrow evening during the homecoming festivities!
