Are you finding yourself falling behind in your homework or maybe you need to make up quizzes and tests? After School Intervention will help get you back on track. We will meet in Mrs. Sawicki’s room (11D) every TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY from 2:50 – 4:05.
Hey Lancers – NHS will be holding a blood drive on October 7th from 8am to 2pm. They will accept any and all blood types. Sign ups will be held during all three lunches and you will also have access to sign-up online. Boys must weigh 110 pounds and girls 120 pounds and you also must be at least 16 years old to donate. Anyone who is 16 needs to fill out a permission form and have it turned into the office the day before the drive. Make sure that you also have a photo ID that can be used to identify you the day of the drive.
Alma College is hosting a STEM open house on Saturday, October 9th, 9am to 1pm. At this event, you will have a chance to learn more about Alma’s STEM academic programs and campus research, tour the science labs, and meet staff and students. If you’re interested, the online registration link is posted in the Counseling Center.
Just a reminder to all National Honor Society members to get their $8 dues to Aerial VanAlstine before October 14th. She’ll be available before school and during all lunches, either in the cafeteria or counseling office. Exact change would be helpful in an envelope with your name on it.
