Any student interested in playing with the Tri-City Titans hockey team this winter there is a sign up sheet in the main office, make sure to sign up by Friday.
Hey Lancers – NHS will be holding a blood drive Thursday from 8am to 2pm. They will accept any and all blood types. Sign ups will be held during all three lunches and you will also have access to sign-up online. Boys must weigh 110 pounds and girls 120 pounds and you also must be at least 16 years old to donate. Anyone who is 16 needs to fill out a permission form and have it turned into the office the day before the drive. Make sure that you also have a photo ID that can be used to identify you the day of the drive.
Hey Juniors and Seniors – Next week you will have the opportunity to meet with more college representatives. On Monday, October 11th, a representative from Northwood University will be here at 9:00 am. On Tuesday, October 12th, a Grand Valley rep. will be here at 1:35 pm. On Friday, October 15th, a rep. from Aquinas College will be here at 9:00 am. Also, on Wednesday, October 13th, a representative from the U.S. Marines will be here to meet with any student that is interested in learning about the NROTC scholarship. Please sign up in the Counseling Office if you would like to attend any of these meetings.
Just a reminder to all National Honor Society members to get their $8 dues to Aerial VanAlstine before October 14th. She’ll be available before school and during all lunches, either in the cafeteria or counseling office. Exact change would be helpful in an envelope with your name on it.
