- Food Drive – Listen up, Lancers— It’s that time of year again! The annual BCMS Food Drive kicks off next Monday, October 11th, and runs for an entire month. The last day of food collection will be Friday, November 12th. This food drive is a BIG event at BCMS. Last year, we were able to provide SIX full Thanksgiving meals to families, give 12 more families groceries over the holidays, and we were able to help families at Christmas time. The grade level that brings in the most items will be given spirit award points towards their total. In addition to the grade-level competition, each individual AC will be competing against each other for a reward at the end of the food drive. Our last winner brought in over 200 items!
- We are looking for non-perishable food items, but monetary donations are also accepted. Every dollar equals one point towards your AC’s total. BCMS– you always do an AMAZING job with this food drive! Let’s make this a great one!
- SPORTS PHYSICALS! – Students must have a sports physical on file in the office before trying out for upcoming sports.
- Girls Basketball – Sign-up sheets are in the cafeteria for 7th & 8th-grade girls who are interested in playing basketball.
- Wrestling – Sign-up sheets are in the cafeteria for students who are interested in being on the wrestling team.
- COVID Vaccination Cards – Parents, if your child has been vaccinated, please turn in a copy of the vaccination card to the office.
- Student Council – BCMS Student Council is looking for student volunteers who are interested in bringing their positive thoughts and kind spirit to the new BCMS student council. We are looking to fill positions on several different committees that will be needed throughout the year. There will be no elections this year— it will be on a volunteer basis.
