Open House Date Set for May 19th.
The 2011-2012 Bullock Creek Building Trades program is off to a great start. We are located at 1786 East Stewart Road, near the intersection of Woodcock Road. This year’s house has 1615 sq.ft, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, main floor laundry, hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, and a larger garage with a work area. Lot size is 1.25 acres, with room for an out building later on. City water and natural gas come with the house as well…
Students have completed the following so far. All framing, window and door installation, Students helped Wilds Heating with rough- in heating, and Robert Hulse with the rough- in plumbing. Students have poured the basement and garage concrete floors.
Currently, they are setting interior doors and installing baseboard and trimming out doors and windows purchased from DeWitt Lumber in Midland and Laurence Smith Window and Door. In the weeks ahead, they will be installing hardwood flooring, ¾ solid oak or ash, and setting kitchen and bath cabinets purchased from LeBeau Cabinets, with designer Denise Thomas.
