BCHS Parent Newsletter
BCHS Families,
Here are some notes and news for Bullock Creek High School:
1. Reminder that there is no school tomorrow (Friday, March 9) for students as this is a professional development day for staff.
2. We have Parent Teacher Conferences next week on Tuesday, March 13 from 4:00-7:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 15 from 3:00-6:30 p.m.
3. Due to Parent Teacher Conferences, our After School Intervention Program will be on Monday and Wednesday next week instead of Tuesday and Wednesday.
4. We still have several missing course request sheets for next year. If you have a current 9th-11th grade student, they should have brought you a course request sheet for scheduling of next year’s classes. This sheet needs a parent/guardian signature and then returned to the counseling office.
5. After a longer than usual wait, a Family Movie NIght has been scheduled for Thursday, March 8 @ 7:00 PM. The feature presentation will be HUGO, which as some of you may know won an Oscar or two at the recent Oscar Awards. As usual, refreshments will be served as well.
6. During our Parent Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, March 13, we will be holding a DUMP YOUR DRUGS event. This will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the main entrance to the high school. You can drop of unused/expired medications for a safe disposal. Please no needles. This event is sponsored by the Midland Area Partnership and co-sponsored by the Bullock Creek High School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions). Attached is a flyer about this event.
