6th Grade volleyball finished 3rd in their season ending tournament. They beat Bay City All Saints and lost close matches to St. Stephen and St. Thomas. Leading servers were Emily Kayden going 22 of 22, Grace Ross was 14 of 15, Marteeka Cross was 16 of 19 and Jenna Histed was 8 of 10. 6th grade volleyball players, please remember to bring your jerseys to our season ending party; Tuesday from 6-7:30 in the school cafeteria.
The 7th grade west team made it to the quarterfinals in the volleyball tournament. Strong servers were Claire Bates and Lauren Beougher with strong play at the net by Haley Novak.
The 7th grade east team played well, with strong serving from Paige Dopp, Brynn Barringer and Chelsea Benedetti. Strong play at the net by Kaitlynn Letts and Brittney Bowman.
Team Mary won their game vs. All Saints in tournament play on Saturday. On Sunday, they went on to beat St. Thomas twice to win the championship! Natasha led the team with most consecutive serves for the weekend. Following in serves were Desiree, Makayla, and Megan. Makayla and Jordan saved plays with numerous digs. Adriana led the weekend with most spikes. Kelsi and Pierson also had several spikes. Megan had numerous tips at the net. Congratulations ladies on an undefeated regular season play and overall champions at the tournament!

Teachers Dress Down and Students Dress Up Spirit Day on Wednesday March 28th and Hawaii Day March 30th.
Theatre-Mania! Come play and be a star! This 6 week program will teach you to express yourself through performance and learn the intricacies of theater and acting. You will explore character development, movement, mask work, improvisation and much more. Gain knowledge of theory, technical theatre and theatre history as it relates to young performers. We will also explore audition techniques. Sign up in the office.
Bob Owen Classic on Friday afternoon, March 30th, the students versus the staff in basketball. Sign up for a basketball team, game room or movie room in the office. You will NOT be allowed to switch rooms -you will be there the entire time. Any questions, please ask Mr. Whittington in Rm #301. Sign up by the end of day tomorrow. If you do not sign up you will be going to gym.
