We will be celebrating Nonviolence week this week. It will be a fun-filled week with lots of activities to help us promote nonviolence. Special things to remember this week. Wear Purple tomorrow for Purple Day. Friday will be “Superhero” Day where students can dress up like their favorite superhero to stand up against violence. Let’s make it a great week.
Today’s Bullying Facts & Statistics: 1 out of 4 teens are bullied everyday. 1 out of 5 teens admit to doing some sort of bullying. 71%of students report bullying as a problem at their school.
Student council members remember that there will be a clean up on Thursday, May 3 after school.
Any student council member wishing to purchase a swetshirt needs to see Mrs. Willsie, this week to pick up an order form. All money and orders are due Monday, May 7.
Any 8th grader interested in signing up 9th grade student council needs to see Mrs. Willsie tomorrow. If you do not sign up you will not be excused for the meeting on Friday.

Attention 8th graders: Your Mackinac Island paperwork and money are due to Mrs. Willsie by Wednesday, May 2. List preferred group and chaperones. No late paperwork or money will be accepted.
