It is with a heavy heart that I write this. As I am certain you know, we lost Jason Krenzke this morning after a nearly 5 year valiant, positive, and faith filled battle with cancer. Our heart goes out to Joslyn, Taylor, Easton and the rest of his family as they deal with the loss of their son, brother, husband and daddy.
The funeral will take place at Messiah Lutheran Wednesday, June 6 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 3-7 at Smith Miner on Tuesday and from 10:00 am until the start of the service at Messiah on Wednesday.
Due to the desire for so many students and staff to attend the funeral, there will be no school on Wednesday. Exams will take place on Tuesday and Thursday (which remains a half day) and the elementary field days will take place on Thursday. I apologize for any of the year end activities this decision puts a wrench into…but I am certain we will work through this. Specific questions about specific building issues should be directed to your building principal.
I also realize this is a huge loss for us and my heart goes out to each and every one of you. Please find someone to hug…your kids, grand kids, spouse, or your dog. Life is precious. We know that if we do not know anything else.
Take care,
Charlie
