Dear Bullock Creek Families:
Welcome Back!
So I figure you’re really happy to hear from me, or you are dreading this letter…depending on how your kids have behaved thus far this summer! Regardless, this annual letter signifies the imminent arrival of the school year and I for one can’t wait!
I am beginning my 19th year in Bullock Creek and I can say with great pride and great certainty that our kids stack up academically, athletically, and creatively with anyone in the state. Where we differentiate ourselves is with the tremendous work ethic and a sense of responsibility that is fostered in our homes. Our students have been recognized time and again for these extraordinary attributes and I expect even greater accomplishments from our current students.
This school year promises more than ever a renewed focus and commitment on the part of everyone at Bullock Creek to provide your son or daughter a safe environment where they can achieve great things. We ask that you join us in that commitment by your positive involvement with your child’s education. Your encouragement and insistence that they are engaged and responsible for their education will increase their chance of success tenfold.
You will soon (or may have already) receive information regarding the school year from your building principal as well as food service and transportation, please read all of this information carefully and post prominently. Do not hesitate to contact your home school if you have any questions whatsoever.
In the mean time, there actually is plenty of summer remaining… so go out there and have some fun!!!
It’s a Great Day to be a Lancer!
Charles F. Schwedler
Superintendent
P.S. Hopefully, part of your summer routine has included enjoying this very warm and sunny weather with a few books as well. Don’t worry though…there is still time for one more book…there is always time for one more book!
