Parents,
Thank you for making time the last two weeks to meet with your child’s teacher during Parent/Teacher conferences. If you have not yet met with your child’s teacher, please do so. Research shows that children whose parents and families are engaged in their education are more successful in school and have higher academic goals. Be sure to check School View on a regular basis. This tool provides a wealth of information to parents. If you have not accessed School View, please take a few minutes to login and check your child’s grades. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 23 for McTeacher Night from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Staff from Pine River Elementary will be at McDonald’s on Eastman Road to greet and serve the customers. This is a great fundraiser for Pine River Elementary as we will earn 15% of the total bill (dine-in or drive thru).
Pizza Kit orders are due on Monday.
The first note that is attached is information from Mr. Freeland – one of the basketball coaches for Bullock Creek in regards to the upcoming Basketball Camp.
The second attachment is from the Salvation Army. If you are in need of some assistance this winter and Christmas – check out this information.

The third note is from the Midland County Educational Service Agency. This is in regards to the upcoming luncheon meetings for parents regarding Asperger’s Syndrome.
Mr. Rutterbush, the Physical Education teacher at Pine River, has provided a newsletter for parents – see attachment #4.
