12-18-12 Pine River Principal News

Parents,

I have attached Mrs. Booth’s Computer Skills Newsletter.

I am glad to report that our day on Monday was a good one in light of the events that occurred last Friday in Connecticut.  You may notice in all Bullock Creek school buildings a heightened awareness and an increase in school safety procedures.  Our goal, as always, is to keep our students safe.  Our district will continue to work with emergency agencies to strengthen our security procedures.

With this being said, I would like to ask for your assistance with our holiday parties this week.  It is vitally important that every visitor to our school stop by the office and sign in for a visitor’s pass before proceeding to the classroom for the holiday party.  In addition, please do not be offended if a staff member does not recognize you and asks for identification.  In addition, whenever you are in the building, you must stop in the office first before heading down the hallway.  We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

Parents are a vital part of a child’s education and we continue to encourage being involved at the school when you are able to do so.  You are certainly welcome at our school and we appreciate your patience as we continue to strengthen our efforts to better ensure student safety.
