Co-op’s:  Time sheets are DUE TODAY!!!!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.  During the month of April individuals, schools, and workplaces are asked to raise awareness about the myths associated with sexual assault and show their support for victims of sexual assault.  One way to show your support is by participating in Denim Day on Wednesday, April 24th.

Denim Day began in 1998 after an Italian Supreme Court decision overturned a rape conviction because the victim wore tight jeans.  The Justices reasoned that the victim must have helped her attacker remove her jeans, which they felt implied consent.  The women in the Italian Parliament were outraged by this decision and protested by wearing jeans.  Denim Day became an international symbol of the need to end sexual violence and educate communities about myths surrounding sexual assault.  Wear jeans April 24th to show your support for the victims of sexual assault and be sure to stop by and see the visitor from Shelterhouse during your lunch hour on Wednesday to learn more!

Wednesday is Black & Gold Card day.  Bring your card to lunch to receive a free chocolate chip cookie!

Hey everyone!   Please come out and join us as we help support Katie K and her family this Sunday, April 28th!   Check out the poster in the hallways for more details.

Attention Seniors:  Are you interested in singing at the graduation ceremony?  Auditions will be held on Wednesday, May 8th @ 3:00 in the auditorium.  Please note:  Music is to be without words and you must be performance ready.  See Ms. Rubingh in room 2D to sign up and for more details.
