Parents,
The first week of school is underway and things are moving along very well. What a great group of middle school students we have!
Thursday next week, September 12th there will be a middle school dance from 2:30-4:00pm.
Following the dance on September 12th is also the Welcome Back barbecue from 4-5:30pm. We will begin serving food at 4:00pm and teachers will be here for you to meet. We would like to invite all parents to stop by.
This week we sent home an informational sheet for you to set up an account in Skyward so that you are able to monitor your child’s grades. If you are having difficulty with the setup, please contact the middle school main office at 631-9260.
We also sent home this week a few forms for you to review, sign and return to school. You should have received a purple 2013-14 registration form, a student handbook signature form, publication privacy form and a parent/ athlete concussion information sheet. If you did not receive one of these forms or have questions, please feel free to contact us.
Picture day is scheduled for September 17th, forms went home with students on Wednesday.
This year, teachers in each grade level are posting daily class activities on our district Wiki page. If you are interested in knowing what activities students completed in class each day, you may visit the district Wiki page at www.bcreek.org. Once on our district page, go to the tools box on the left side of the screen and select groups. Within the groups Wiki page you can select your child’s teachers. Each page also provides you with each teachers email address.
