Dear Community Members and Parents:
As I am sure you have heard by now, the voters of Midland County, with nearly 82% voting yes, overwhelmingly approved the Midland County Enhancement Renewal. This is simply fantastic news! I can’t tell you how proud I am to live in a community that supports their schools in such a resounding manner!
Thank you so much to all of you who promoted and voted for this millage; your efforts are greatly appreciated; job well done!
Please know that we do not take this vote lightly. I don’t believe the community would have supported this renewal in such a fashion if you were dissatisfied with your schools and the education of your kids. We realize, however, that there are expectations and great responsibilities that come with such a vote. You expect a quality education for your children, you expect us to work with families for the betterment of each child, and you expect us to be good stewards of your money. We plan on doing just that.
We take this responsibility seriously and we are grateful.
