Here are a few items for this week:
1. Schedule pick up and locker assignments were given out today. If you missed this, you can always stop in the high school office to pick up your schedule and locker assignment. If a student wants to request a schedule change, they need to sign up in the counseling office. We will do everything we can to try and accomplish a request but sometimes the schedule does not allow the request to be met.
2. There is Marching Band practice tomorrow (August 25) from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
3. If your student is interested in joining the Archery Club, there is a meeting/pizza party and shooting practice taking place on Saturday, August 27 from 1:00-4:00. This will take place at the Trini Brisson’s (who is the Archery Club Advisor) house which is located at 2431 W. Chippewa Road. If you are interested in attending, please contact Trini Brisson at 989-488-7291.
4. There is a home football game this Friday. August 27 at 7:00 p.m. This is a home football game versus Meridian.
The teaching staff will return next week with a work day on Monday and professional development days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The high school office will be closed on Friday, September 2 and Monday, September 5. Students return on Tuesday, September 6. We look forward to seeing everyone at the start of the school year.
