BCHS Families,
Here are some News and Notes from Bullock Creek High School:
We are gearing up for our Homecoming Week and we officially kick off Homecoming activities with our Powder Puff Football game on Saturday, September 27 at 5:00 p.m. at Lancer Stadium. Here are some other Homecoming activities:
- Order your 2014 Homecoming T-shirt today through Monday, September 29.
Attached is an order form. Order forms may also be picked up in the main
office. Orders will be picked up on Tuesday and they should be returned by
Thursday morning. T-shirts can also be purchased at the Homecoming Game at
the Lancer Locker
- After the Powder Puff Football game on Saturday, there will be a bonfire sponsored by the school. It will take place in the gravel portion of the parking lot. There will be lots of activities for students, such as volleyball, ladderball, corn hole, catchphrase, and smores. We look forward to getting our Homecoming week off to a fun start.
- The Homecoming Assembly at the High School is from 1:41 p.m. to 2:38 p.m. Parents are welcome to join us for this assembly.
- The Homecoming Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. The parade will leave from the corner of Stewart Road and Patterson Road and will end at the high school in front of the Varsity Softball Field.
- Anyone in the parade should be at the parade route by 4:00 p.m.
- Please avoid driving on Paterson Road between Gordonville Road and Stewart Road. This is the staging area for all of the entries for the parade and it is very congested. Unless your vehicle is an actual entry in the parade, please avoid driving on this road. If you are dropping someone off for the parade, please use Stewart Road and drop the person off in front of the church. There will be many helpers at the parade route to make sure students get to their correct location.
- There will NOT be a homecoming tailgate party this year where you can purchase food after the parade. You are welcome to tailgate on your own.
- The Homecoming Football game begins at 7:00 p.m. versus Hemlock. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at halftime of the football game.
- The Homecoming Dance takes place on Saturday from 8:00-11:00 p.m. at the high school.
- I would like to also recognize the 2014 Homecoming Court. The King and Queen will be crowned at the game during halftime.
