Thank you to all who came to the Halloween Parties! The students had a great time.
We want to thank those who have supported Pine River by purchasing pizza from Hungry Howies on Wednesdays. If you are not familiar with this fundraiser, it is pretty simple! Each student will be given a blue Hungry Howies ticket to be used on any Wednesday. On each ticket, students will need to write their name, their classroom teacher’s name and grade. Turn in the ticket when the pizza is picked up. Pine River will earn 20% and this will be used to update the basketball backboards and rims, as well as new recess equipment. We are hoping to continue with this fundraiser for the remainder of the year.
Wednesday November 12th, students have an opportunity to pay $.50 to wear a hat to school. Funds raised will be donated to Safe and Sound Child Advocacy Center.
When the Bullock Creek Board adopted the original school calendar in March of last year, both November 14 and March 16 were scheduled as Professional Development days. Due to a change in the required number of instructional days/minutes, it was necessary for us to change two of our Professional Development days to instructional days. Therefore, school will be in session this Friday, November 14th and also on March 16th.
Just a reminder that there is a FREE Family Movie Night this Friday, November 14 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Bullock Creek High School Auditorium.
