Rotary representatives presented information about the Rotary Youth Exchange Program last spring. Now is the final notification for students to apply for the next year’s program (study abroad: Aug. 2012-July 2013). There will be an informational meeting for students and their parents TONIGHT at 7:00pm at the Midland Community Center.
Those interested in trying out for the Cooperative Hockey Program made up of Bullock Creek, Meridian, Hemlock and Swan Valley will have a short meeting at 9:45 am on Thursday in the cafeteria. Those interested in attending the meeting must sign up in the office before Thursday.
If you are interested in playing Powder Puff football, you can pick up a permission slip in the main office. There will be a meeting after school Thursday in the cafeteria for everyone interested. Permission slips are due Friday, September 16th!
Attention NHS members: We will be having our first full group meeting this Thursday morning (9/15) at 7:10am in the Distance Learning Lab. If you are not a morning co-op or dual enrollee, we look forward to seeing you. TODAY is the last day to sign up for the United Way ushering opportunity this Thursday evening. All 9th grade students are invited to go to the Grand Canyon this June for the adventure of a lifetime. The tour dates are June 9th through 13th, 2012. The parent and student meeting is this Thursday from 5:30 to 6:15pm at the Middle School in room 104. Please call Mr. Brown at the Middle School if you have any questions.
