- The BCMS track and field team competed at their second meet of the season last night at Freeland. Both teams placed 3rd overall. There were many top 3 performances! Sam Chew placed 3rd in the 70m dash and 2nd in long jump, Gaeb Griese placed 2nd in both the 100m dash and long jump, Brady Linton placed 2nd in the 200m hurdles, Jared Way, Max Griese, Donovan Curtis, and Zach Woods placed 3rd in the 4x200m relay, Brett Pinet, Lucas Evitts, Steven Lenon, and Ben Hurd placed 3rd in the 4x800m relay, Haley Crawford, Lydia Church, McKenna Barcia, and Karine Pratt placed 3rd in the 4x100m relay, Emylee Crane, Veronica Card, Ashlyn Gorman, and Dana Seiler placed 3rd in the 4x400m relay, Brooke Gledhill, Danielle Drake, Dana Seiler, and Kaylee Minter placed 3rd in the 4x800m relay, and finally, the very fast and last race of the night with Drake Killinger, Brady Linton, Brad Pinet, and Gaeb Griese placing 1st in the 4x100m relay, who are now one tenth of a second away from breaking the school record. Great job to all of the athletes who competed!
