Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year. I hope everyone is enjoying the final week of summer and looking forward to beginning school on September 8th. On that note, I am pleased to have been given the opportunity to serve as the Bullock Creek Middle School principal. I have taught in the district for the past 17 years and have enjoyed working with the families in our area. I’m excited to begin my new role in the district and looking forward to getting started. Let me provide some important information and dates for your calendar.
The first day of school will be September 8, 2015 and will begin with schedule pick up at 7:40 am. 6th grade students will pick up their schedules in the library, 7th grade will pick up their schedules in the care center and 8th grade will receive their schedules in the gym. The regular school day will follow this schedule. At 7:25 buses release students. At 7:40 students are allowed to access the hallways, classrooms and lockers. Students are released at the end of the school day at 2:25.
Below I have provided a few important dates for your calendar. As we move through the school year I will communicate important information through email. In order to receive this communication you must be signed up in Skyward with a current email address. Many people are familiar with this program and are already on our list. If you are not signed up for Skyward, please make certain that you do. Teachers at the middle school use Skyward and the district Wiki page to keep you as up to date as possible. Please take advantage of these tools.
