BCHS News and Notes

BCHS Families,
I hope you and your student have had a great start to the school year. It has been a busy week but we seem to be off to a great start.
Your student should have brought home 2 forms to fill out and return to the high school office. They are:
Registration Form 2015-16
Home and School Agreement for our Student Handbook
If you have not done so already, please fill these forms out and have your student return them to the office.
Mr. Tomko and myself did meet with all of the grades this week to review the Student Handbook. You can always find a copy of the Student Handbook on our website. To find it, go to www.bcreek.org and click on the parents tab at the top. You will see a link for Handbooks, Policies, and Forms. Here you will see a copy of the BCHS Student Handbook. If you would like a hard copy, you can always request one from the main office.
If you are dropping off a student to school in the morning and the school busses have arrived, please drop your student off on the opposite side of the island nearest the parking lot.  If there are no school busses, you are welcome to drop your student off in front of the main entrance.
I have attached the following documents.
1. Senior Yearbook Information and  Deadlines – If you have a senior, please note the deadlines to turn in Senior Portraits, Senior Slide Show Pictures, Senior Baby Pictures and  Seniors with Siblings pictures.
2. Senior Pride Ad – details on how to place an ad in the yearbook for your senior.
3. Senior Newsletter – this was handed out to all seniors at their class meeting on Tuesday. It does contain a lot of important dates for seniors. If you have any questions in regard to seniors, please give Mrs. Brown a call in our counseling office.
One good way to stay current on news in the high school is to read our daily student announcements. This is easy to do. Go to www.bcreek.org. Again go under the parent’s section and you will see a link to daily announcements for the high school. These are updated by the end of the school day.
