Pine River Elementary Families,
This email has multiple attachments.  The first set of attachments is in regards to summer camp activities through Midland County ESA.  Not all of these camps are for younger students, so be sure to check out the age requirement.
  • Ag-mazing Adventures(Formally Cow 2 Cone)- Agriscience Camp, students design and create pizza’s while learning about the agricultural roots of the ingredients.  Ag-Mazing Adv
  • What’s on the Menu – Culinary Camp, students will learn about the Art of Food in a hands-on way.  Culinary Camp
  • Square 1 Skilled Trades Camp – students experience the trades through hands on activities facilitated by practicing tradespeople. STARTING AT SQ 1 CAMP
  • Decoding Technology(Formally Bytes) – IT Camp, students learn about Internet of Things(IoT) through Virtual Greenhouse Technology, Digital Breakout Box, Coding and more through hands on activities.  Tech Camp
  • Scrub Life – Healthcare Camp, students work in the simulation lab and get CPR and First Aid Certified.  Scrub Life
  • Advanced Scrub Life- Continuation of Scrub Life, student must be CPR/First Aid certified or have completed Scrub Life camp. In-depth Simulation Lab Experiences will take place at this 1 day camp.
The Pine River Girls on the Run program will be doing a project at Pine River Elementary.  Please see the attached form for information on how everyone can help out on this project.  GOTR Project
If your child is interested in participating in a summer soccer clinic, please see the attachment.
As I receive more information regarding sports camps through Bullock Creek, I will send that to you.
Just a reminder – the next ½ day of school will be Friday, May 17th.  Students will be dismissed at 12:05 p.m.  There will be no school on Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.
