Middle School News 7/22/11

As many of you know, this month I have begun to serve as the Bullock Creek Middle School Principal.  Mr. Carmoney, after several years of excellent service, has taken a position at Meridian Public Schools as Superintendent.  We are very sad to see Mr. Carmoney leave, but know that Meridian Public Schools has acquired a great leader.  Mr. Carmoney has left a legacy at Bullock Creek Middle School that will be a challenge to maintain and build on.  I am very proud to be given this opportunity and look forward to working with you all as I serve our excellent Middle School students and staff.

Many of you know me as the Bullock Creek High School Assistant Principal.  Prior to my four years has high school assistant principal, I had the opportunity to teach Industrial Arts for eight years.  I attended Bullock Creek Public School K-12 and graduated in 1992. Following graduation, I attended Central Michigan University and earned my teaching degree in 1998.  After teaching my first year in Midland Public Schools, I had the opportunity to transfer to Bullock Creek High School.  I am very proud of the education I have received at Bullock Creek Public Schools and want to provide the type of leadership that will inspire others to feel that same sense of pride.  I have made Bullock Creek my home and I am excited that you have as well.

On August 16th, Bullock Creek Middle School will be working the Bullock Creek booth at the Midland County fair from 10am-10pm.  I am looking for volunteers that would be willing to share their Creek Pride by giving two hours of time to speak with people as they visit the booth.  If you are interested in signing up for a two hour time slot, please send me an e-mail indicating your availability.
