Just a few reminders…
Next Tuesday, May 7, Pine River will be having another McTeacher Night at the McDonald’s restaurant on Eastman Road. Please come out and join us from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. either by eating in the dining room or going through drive–thru (see attachment #1). Fifteen percent of all sales between 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. are given back to Pine River Elementary. Mainly, the teachers use this money to purchase books for the classroom libraries.
Saginaw Valley State University is hosting the SMEK Camps this summer. If you’re interested, please see attachment #2.
The Physical Education Spirit Cup Fundraiser orders are due tomorrow, Thursday, May 2.
The School Carnival is next Friday, May 10 at Bullock Creek Elementary from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Advance tickets for the game bracelet is $5 through Friday morning, May 3rd. To purchase the game bracelet at the carnival, it will be $7.
If you are able, please consider volunteering for Field Day. This day is scheduled for June 6 and notes did go home the other day.
The next PTO meeting is Wednesday, May 8, @ 7:00 p.m. in the library at Pine River Elementary.
There are lots of activities coming up in each of the classrooms. Please be sure to read emails from your child’s teacher carefully for all of the details.
DARE Spaghetti Dinner is on May 10 at Messiah Lutheran Church from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. You may purchase tickets or make a donation at the Pine River office.
